Èze Medieval Village
What you'll experience:
Discover one of the most picturesque sites on the French Riviera. This medieval village, built atop a rocky outcrop for security reasons, dates back to the Middle Ages. Walk the cobblestone streets and reach the summit for incredible views from 427 meters high.
Highlights:
Explore the exotic garden and castle ruins, visit the famous Fragonard Perfumery to discover the perfume-making process. The 12th-century walls were dismantled in 1706 on orders from Louis XIV.
La Turbie (Pass by)
What you'll experience:
Cross the village of La Turbie, also called "Monaco's terrace" due to its panoramic view over the Principality. Admire the ruins of the impressive Trophy of the Alps monument.
Highlights:
This 50-meter-high monument was built in 7 BC, dedicated to Emperor Augustus on the road that once connected Italy to Cimiez (the Roman quarter of Nice).
